The flower structure incorporates the reproductive organs, and its function is to produce seeds through sexual reproduction. For the higher plants, seeds are the next generation, and serve as the primary means by which individuals of a species are dispersed across the landscape. I will use a filter or filters - but that's about the extent of it. The problem here: I don't remember how I did it! I wished I did because it really turned out to be quite a beautiful picture with an "impressionistic" look. I also photographed them on black and white TMax film. I loved the black and white so much that I did it on slide film too! The black and white image has won me many competitions, but when I competed with them, they WERE chemical prints - ones made in my darkroom. But, alas, like most people today, there aren't too many chemical prints being made any more.
