Judy's Cards

This is a mix of three Dahlias and one Mum, and all are beautiful!

Dahlias are absolutely beautiful flowers - especially this particular one with the print edging.

This image was shot years ago at a B&B way up in Canada - they used all of their flowers for their food - and I might add - both of these flowers are very tasty!

I do very little manipulation, but if I do - I claim it. I will use a filter or filters - but that's about the extent of it. The problem here: I don't remember how I did it! I wished I did because it really turned out to be quite a beautiful picture with an "impressionistic" look. When people buy this card, they generally want more than one because it IS so beautiful!

I shot these tulips so many years ago that I have completely forgotten what year it was. I also photographed them on black and white TMax film. I loved the black and white so much that I did it on slide film too! The black and white image has won me many competitions, but when I competed with them, they WERE chemical prints - ones made in my darkroom. But, alas, like most people today, there aren't too many chemical prints being made any more. I still have my darkroom and keep thinking that I'll go back in there one of these days and work.
